Achievement of ISO9001:2008

CCC IT Solutions is delighted to have again satisfied the stringent benchmarks for ISO9001:2008 accreditation, the latest framework for quality management systems.  CCC IT Solutions first achieved ISO accreditation in 1999 and used these internationally recognised standards to maintain the key procedures that enhance their customer’s experience of their computer support services.

What is the ISO9001:2008 Standard?

The ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System is the fourth edition of the international benchmark for providing assurance about the ability to satisfy requirements that enhance customer satisfaction in supplier to customer relationships.  The ISO 9000 is a family of standards maintained by ISO, the International Organisation for Standardisation which is administered by accreditation and certification bodies.  Some of the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 standard include:

• a set of procedures that cover all key processes in the business;
• monitoring processes to ensure they are effective;
• keeping detailed records;
• checking output for defects, with appropriate and corrective action where necessary;
• regularly reviewing individual processes and the quality system itself for effectiveness; and
• facilitating continual improvement

By maintaining these ISO standards customers will be able to identify a proven, competent company and can, therefore, expect to receive consistency of service to fulfil their requirements.

The United Kingdom Accreditation Service is the sole national accreditation body recognised by government to assess, against internationally agreed standards, organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services.
